“This is a life-changing experience. An opportunity to realize you're not done, you're not over and
you're not broken.”

Medical Providers

Veterans will be participating in a vigorous outdoor winter sporting event at high altitude.

  • Please do not clear any patient that has risk of developing medical complications at altitudes greater than 10,000 feet (please review medical application closely).

  • Do not clear a patient weighing more than 220 lbs. that will need to ski sitting down.

  • Do not clear anyone over 300 lbs to ski standing.

  • Please include with the Medical Application a recent (within one year) EKG strip. It is critical for us to have an EKG strip prior to the clinic to use as a comparison if your veteran should have an issue.

  • Completely fill out the front and back of the medical form.

  • Don't forget to check whether you are clearing the veteran, and please remember to sign the form.
